
Brown banned for Bath red card
Newcastle Falcons full-back Louis Brown has received a three-game ban following the red card he picked up at Bath on Saturday, reduced to two upon completion of the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme.
The case was heard on papers by an independent panel, chaired by Martin Picton, sitting with Christian Scotland-Williamson and Kylie Hutchison.
Brown was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13, during a game against Bath Rugby on Saturday April 26.
He received a three-match ban, which will be reduced to two if he successfully completes the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme (CIP).*
