Newcastle Falcons players Louis Brown and Josh Barton took to the stage at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena to play an exhibition leg at the PDC Premier League darts.

Full-back Brown and scrum-half Barton were invited on stage for a special nine-dart challenge, enjoying full walk-ons and big-screen exposure.

In the end it was Brown who took the honours, throwing 100 with his first three darts and pulling further away thereafter, but both players helped whip up the crowd prior to the main event, which was won by Dutchman Michael van Gerwen.
