The opening round sees Newcastle hosting fellow Gallagher Premiership club Worcester Warriors on the weekend of December 10/11/12.

Back-to-back French trips have the Falcons away to Biarritz on the weekend of January 14/15/16, followed by Toulon away on the weekend of January 21/22/23.

The group stage comes to a close on the weekend of April 8/9/10 when Italian side Zebre travel to Kingston Park, with this year’s tournament split into three pools of five.

The three highest-ranked clubs from each pool, and the highest-ranked fourth-placed club, as well as the three clubs ranked 9 to 11 from each of the Heineken Champions Cup pools, will qualify for the one-leg Round of 16 on the weekend of 15/16/17.

The quarter-finals will be held on the weekend of May 6/7/8, with the semi-finals on May 13/14/15 before the final in Marseille on Friday May 27.

This season’s draw sends the Falcons back to Toulon’s Stade Felix Mayol, the venue at which they famously enjoyed a 26-25 Heineken Champion Champions Cup victory back in October 2018, cheered on by a sizeable and vocal away support.

The exact dates of the pool stage fixtures, as well as kick-off times and TV coverage, will be announced as soon as possible following further consultation with clubs and tournament organiser EPCR’s partner broadcasters.
