Easter coaching camp details confirmed
The Falcons Community Foundation Easter half term camps are back for another year, with a host of activities around the North East and Cumbria.
Each camp runs every day from 10am to 3pm and includes a range of rugby skills, activities and games all using CARDS, the hierarchy of modern day coaching skills involve (Creativity, Awareness, Resilience, Decision making, Self-organisation) a coaching philosophy which delivered by the Falcons Academy. All participants will be working within their age groups as much as possible.
Coaching camps are open to ages 6-16 and welcome all abilities, with camp participants receiving five hours of coaching from DBS cleared RFU qualified Falcons Community Foundation coaches, a Newcastle Falcons Coaching Camp T-shirt as a memento of their day, a visit from a Newcastle Falcons player and five Falcons dollars, which can be redeemed in the Falcons shop or the ticket office up to the value of £5 or can be saved up to purchase a Newcastle Falcons replica shirt or another item out of the club shop!*
All attendees need to bring a packed lunch, water-bottle and weather appropriate rugby clothing. This should include trainers as well boots, shorts and tracksuit bottoms, warm tops, mouth guard**, waterproof top, warm hat and sun cream. Full Kit list will be provided with confirmation (Some of this list may be subject to weather).
At each camp at Kingston Park, there is the opportunity for your son/daughter to attend the breakfast club which is held at 8am to allow parents/guardians to drop off early.

– 12th & 13th Keswick RFC
