Whatever your plans this weekend, be sure to head along to Tynemouth Longsands this Saturday for the Falcons’ annual beach party.

Kicking off at 11am the free event offers something for everyone in a day packed with fun events, including a visit from the Webb Ellis Trophy as part of the Rugby World Cup 2015’s Trophy Tour through the North East.

Falcons players and community coaches will be available to provide coaching sessions and judge the rugby kick for goal tournament, while the day will also host the finals of Newcastle Falcons’ adults touch rugby competition and include access to rugby, cricket, volleyball and football pitches.

Bouncy castles, a face painter and a children’s entertainer will also be in attendance while there will be music, a sand castle building competition and the infamous mascot race throughout the day.

To join in the fun head along to Tynemouth Longsands between 11am and 2pm on Saturday.

There are still a limited number of places available in the adults touch rugby festival. For more information please contact gavin.beasley@newcastle-falcons.co.uk.
