Saturday’s game is the Falcons’ last regular-season assignment in the Premiership Academy League, with finals day being held at Saracens’ StoneX Stadium next weekend.

Newcastle were beaten 29-26 at Yorkshire Academy in their last outing, with their previous three games seeing them draw at West Midlands Academy (14-14), beat Sale Sharks at home (17-10) and beat Leicester Tigers away (22-29).
