Falcons up for major national hospitality awards
The Falcons have been shortlisted in two categories at the prestigious Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards, which will be held at Liverpool FC’s Anfield stadium on June 1.
Newcastle are nominated in the Overall Matchday Hospitality category, as well as the Matchday Hospitality Award (Small Stadium), which is for venues with up to 1,000 hospitality places.
The renowned event aims to recognise the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at every football and rugby stadium across the UK.
Jane Shepstone, conference and events director at Newcastle Falcons, said: “We are delighted to once again receive this tremendous recognition for our match-day hospitality offering.
“It is a credit to our staff who do such a fantastic job in delivering an enjoyable and memorable experience, and to the club for continuing to invest in top-quality facilities for our guests.
“The feedback we receive from those attending our hospitality on match days is really positive, and it’s great news that nationally-recognised industry experts feel the same.”
Newcastle Falcons have fared well in the awards in recent seasons, last year winning operations team of the year, taking silver in the small stadium hospitality category and seeing Melissa Mallen awarded the Rising Star.
The club is launching a range of exciting new match-day hospitality options for next season, details of which can be found by [**clicking here**][1].
