Falcons v Cardiff Blues live on S4C and BT Sport
The 8pm kick-off is the first of four pool games in the revised format of this season’s Challenge Cup, and will unfortunately be played behind closed doors due to Newcastle remaining under Tier 3 restrictions.
Supporters can however see live coverage on two separate channels, firstly on S4C, the Welsh language channel which is also available in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland on Sky channel 134, Freesat 120 and Virgin TV 166.
S4C is also available online by [**clicking here.**][1] or via the BBC iPlayer by [**clicking here.**][2]
Alternatively, the match is being shown live on BT Sport 3, as is the Falcons’ round two match away at Castres on Friday December 18.
For information on how to watch BT Sport (subscription or monthly pass required) please [**click here**][3] or contact your TV package provider.
Supporters are advised that the BT Sport match pass for season ticket holders is not in operation for this fixture, with that deal restricted to Gallagher Premiership home games.
Audio commentary will be available via the BBC Newcastle team or Radio Wales on the BBC Rugby website and BBC Sport app, while the Newcastle Falcons twitter feed (@falconsrugby) will carry the usual in-game updates.
