Final 4 Premiership Games set for bumper crowds

Newcastle Falcons are encouraging supporters to book their tickets for the final four Aviva Premiership matches of the season as increased interest is leading to a surge in ticket sales

With Premiership attendances up over 15% already at Kingston Park the club are expecting big attendances versus Wasps (20th Feb), Leicester Tigers (8th March), Bath (12th April) and Harlequins (16th May). Already over well 5,000 tickets have gone for the Tigers clash with fewer than 500 seats remaining for this game. Big demand for seats is also expected in the other three games with the Friday Night game versus Wasps on 20th February proving popular with rugby clubs and groups from local businesses.

Speaking about the remaining four games Head of Marketing & Community Melanie Magee said

“As ever we are advising supporters that if they want to secure the best seats or stand in the most popular areas they need to book early. The Tigers game in particular is looking incredibly busy and could even eclipse our recent six year high of over 9,000 versus Saracens. Wasps has been designated as ‘Bring The Noise 2’ and we will be announcing a host of entertainment, happy hours and other events around that game soon.

If ticket sales track as they have been doing we can push our average Premiership attendance to over 6.500 this year. That would be around a 30% increase on last season and although still some way below where we can get it to a definite big step in the right direction.”

Tickets are available to buy [online][1], by calling the club’s 24 hour Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060 or in person from the Kingston Park Box Office, starting from £15 for adults and £7.50 for juniors.
