Final boarding call for London Irish coaches
Newcastle Falcons’ “Wall of Noise” for next Sunday has been given a big boost with over 400 members from local grassroots clubs committing to attend and claiming free transport to the game.
Looking to pack out the stands for the Aviva Premiership Rugby fixture against London Irish, the Falcons and Otterburn based coach operator Howard Snaith have committed to provide ten coaches to bring members from Club Connections clubs to the ground, with all but two now claimed.
Club Connections programme manager Andrew Matson said: “It has been great to see our club connections members respond to this offer and with eight buses already filled, it’s a big number of voices we have already added to the wall of noise.
“We’ve still got two vehicles available for any clubs who would still like to come along to the game next week and we hope that they will be taken up over the weekend.”
The remaining coaches are available to the member clubs who commit to bringing a group of 50 or more members, with a minimum of 20 adults, to the game on Sunday April 17 (kick-off 3pm).
The coaches will transport groups to and from their respective grounds to Kingston Park, and all clubs who purchase 50 or more tickets will be entered into a draw to win a full set of Newcastle Falcons playing shirts.
With Club Connections ticket prices valid in the usual areas for all groups of 15 or more, it is hoped that the local rugby community will take advantage and show the strength of the game in the North East.
