Forces ticket offers announced for Cardiff
Newcastle Falcons will play their next home match on Friday 7th November against Cardiff Blues in the LV= Cup.
With the game taking place so close to Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, the club has chosen to dedicate this match to the occasion and as such will be offering free and discounted tickets to members of the Armed Forces past and present.
Melanie Magee, Head of Marketing and Community said: “This time of year is an important one for all of us to reflect on the hard work and sacrifices that our Forces past and present have made over the years and continue to make today.
“As a mark of our thanks and respect to those brave and dedicated individuals, Newcastle is working with a number of organisations, including the Forces themselves and Tickets for Troops, to promote discounted tickets for what we hope will be an entertaining game against Cardiff.”
On the night of the game the club will be marking the occasion with a military band and bugler, and a wreath laid in the centre of the pitch before kick off.
