Gallagher Series: inspirational and engaging presentations
The Gallagher Series will see former England cricketer Monty Panesar, women’s rugby great Maggie Alphonsi MBE and international author James Kerr all speaking at Kingston Park Stadium, the home of Newcastle Falcons.
These inspirational and engaging presentations will be delivered over the next few months and aim to provide powerful and thought-provoking content for the region’s business community.
Kerr will visit Kingston Park on Thursday February 13 to talk about his book ‘Legacy β what the All Blacks could teach us about the Business of Life.’
Women’s Rugby World Cup winner Alphonsi will be sharing the compelling story of her life and career, highlighting the obstacles she overcame during this time, when she speaks on Wednesday April 8.
The series is then concluded on Wednesday June 10 when former Wisden Cricketer of the Year Panesar talks about the life lessons learned around his seven-year international career, including resilience, mental health and his love for the game.
Frank Firth, director of Arthur J Gallagher in Newcastle, commented: βIn all our communities in which we work we focus on collaboration and professional excellence. To have the opportunity to bring three professional individuals to the region to provide inspiration for our business community, and in collaboration with Newcastle Falcons, is an exciting development for our business.β
