Greenwood features for GB 7s in HSBC World Series
The 19-year-old Tynesider made four appearances throughout the tournament as GB 7s placed joint seventh in the standings, alongside South Africa.
Greenwood made appearance from the bench in victories against Spain and Germany in the opening two rounds of the pool stages and was in the starting line-up in the sides defeat to Argentina.
Greenwood’s last appearance for the GB 7s came in the fifth-place semi-final against Ireland – suffering a 22-0 defeat.
The former Whitley Bay Rockliff and Gosforth Academy flyer has made 13 appearances for GB 7s throughout the year, scoring one try.
Great Britain currently sit 10th in the men’s overall standings with one tournament to go – the London 7s event on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21.
