Newcastle Falcons are once again turning to the power of social media as they look to raise awareness of their upcoming home Aviva Premiership encounter with Gloucester Rugby.

After the last push using networks like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, played a huge role in attracting over 5,000 fans to the match against Northampton, the club will today be posting images of the poster for next week’s game and will be asking supporters to help spread the message far and wide.

In an attempt to garner further attention, the initial push will coincide with Twitter’s North East hour on the 11th November.

Falcons Head of Community and Marketing Melanie Magee said: “The club’s fans on social media have helped play a crucial role in the 5% rise in Aviva Premiership attendances to date this season and we are hoping as many as possible can help us get the word out and get as many people as possible to ‘bring the noise’ against Gloucester.”

The poster image will be tweeted and posted on all of the club’s social media channels at 2pm on 11th November for supporters to share, tweet or repost.

Tickets for the game are on sale now with prices starting from £7.50 for Under 16s and £15 for Adults. To book yours, click here call 0871 2266060 or visit the Kingston Park box office during office hours
