Houghton on their way to the Ultimate Rugby prize

As rugby clubs around the North East look to help Newcastle Falcons Bring the Noise against Gloucester, Houghton RFC are currently leading the way towards winning the Ultimate Rugby prize.

Members of the Falcons Club Connections programme are being encouraged to help Bring the Noise by making a night of Friday night and turning out in club colours to show their support not only for Newcastle Falcons but also for their own rugby club.

As an extra incentive the club selling the highest number of tickets to Friday’s game will win the Ultimate Rugby prize; getting to experience life as a professional team when they hold their own game here at Kingston Park.

Houghton RFC are currently in the lead for the competition, with a big group expected to arrive at Kingston Park on Friday night thanks to hard work from their Club Connections representatives.

However, with tough competition already from Morpeth and Blaydon RFC amongst others, there is still chance for another club to steal the prize!

The winning club will get an exclusive, money can’t buy prize including all the hallmarks experienced by a modern day professional rugby player.

Newcastle Falcons coaches will be on hand to run training sessions for the team in the build up to the big match.

Both teams will have sole use of the home and away dressing rooms before strutting their stuff on the big stage. Like a real match day, hospitality will be available in the corporate suites before the game.
