Kingston Park set for super-sized Super Saturday
Kingston Park is the place to be this weekend for a host of rugby action as Super Saturday gets supersized at the home of Newcastle Falcons and Thunder.
Fans of both codes will be well catered for at the North East home of professional rugby, with all three Guinness 6 Nations fixtures available to watch in the Tap and Tackle and Newcastle Thunder in action against West Wales Raiders on the main field.
Starting with Italy v France at 12:30, all three of the day’s matches from rugby’s greatest championship will be screened within the Tap & Tackle, with happy hour promotions running from the kick-off of each match.
Between the end of the potential grand slam decider between Wales and Ireland and kick off of the Calcutta Cup clash between England and Scotland, complimentary curry cooked up by Kingston Park’s award-winning chefs will be offered around the gathered fans.
For those wishing to sample some live sport in person, entry will be available to the East Stand to see the day’s rugby league action as Newcastle Thunder look to make it three wins from three in all competitions.
Tickets to enter the stadium for Thunder’s return to Betfred League 1 action start from £12 for adults, with Saturday’s visitors the same side who were knocked out of rugby league’s Challenge Cup a week ago by Thunder.
Entry to the Tap & Tackle to watch any of the 6 Nations games will be free of charge.
