LADIES TO TAKE CENTRE STAGE AHEAD OF SARACENS CLASH
The Falcons Ladies side which will include players from across the region will be coached by England internationals Katy McLean and Tamara Taylor who will both be involved in the Women’s World Cup later this year.
Following the ladies contest, Dean Richards’ outfit take centre stage against a star-studded Saracens side eager to cement their position at the summit of the Premiership table (kick-off 3pm). But before the men’s side lock horns with the likes of Owen Farrell, Chris Ashton and Schalk Brits, the ladies will strut their stuff at Kingston Park.
The Falcons Ladies side will include players from Novos, Darlington Mowden Park Sharks, Carlisle, Northumbria University, Teesside University, Durham University, Sheffield and Waterloo. It will give the region’s public the chance to see the very best talent in the area ahead of the Women’s World Cup. The event is just another example of the Falcons Community Foundation’s commitment to rugby in the community.
And in keeping with the ladies theme, there will be a ladies 7s competition taking place before the match at Bullocksteads.
The ground will be open from 11am and anyone with a ticket for the men’s game can watch the ladies game absolutely free.
Tickets are available by calling the Falcons Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060 or [click here][1] to purchase online.
