Match-day guide: Dragons RFC

Turnstiles open at 1.45pm, with kick-off set for 3.15pm.

Our club shop and ticket office will be open from 9am on match day.

The fixture against Dragons RFC is included in all 2024/25 seasonal membership packages.

Match tickets for Dragons are currently on general sale with prices from as little as £14 for adults and £8 for U18s. Concessionary pricing is also available for 18–23-year-olds and supporters over the age of 65.

Ticket prices will rise on match day so be sure to grab yours quick!

Newcastle Falcons welcome Dragons RFC to Kingston Park this Sunday (December 15, kick-off: 3.15pm) in the EPCR Challenge Cup.

Newcastle Falcons faced a setback in the opening round with an away defeat to Pau. However, they enter this fixture in fine form, having secured four consecutive home victories across the Gallagher Premiership and Premiership Rugby Cup.

Whilst there’s plenty of action expected on the pitch, we’ll also have plenty taking place off it. For more details on everything going on at Kingston Park, see below:

TICKETS

Match tickets for Falcons v Dragons remain on general sale from as little as £14 for adults and just £8 for U18s. Concessionary pricing is also available for 18–23-year-olds or supporters over the age of 65. Be sure to grabs yours before prices rise on match day. Click HERE to secure your place.

Once you’ve purchased a match ticket, these will be sent to the email address you provided, attached to your purchase confirmation – these can either be printed, viewable on your smartphone or added to your phone’s digital wallet.

2024/25 season ticket holders will be able to access the ground with your digital season ticket. If you’re a supporter with a physical card for the season, this will also grant you access to the stadium.

Our club shop is located in our East Stand and we’ll also have retail units set up in the West and South Stand concourses.

ENTERTAINMENT

The Newcastle Rugby Foundation will be hosting their annual Junior Falcons Christmas Party ahead of the game. Taking place from 2pm until 3pm the party will feature a variety of activities designed to get our youngest fans into the festive spirit. You can still register to attend by clicking HERE. Attendees must also have a valid match ticket for the game against Dragons RFC, which can be purchased HERE.

Once again, the Newcastle Rugby Foundation will also be hosting our Junior Falcons funzone on the West Stand concourse. There’s plenty of activities planned and you’ll even get a special visit from Flash the Falcon – don’t miss it!

The Newcastle Rugby Foundation will be holding their usual Foundation Flutter raffle ahead of kick-off. Purchase a ticket for your chance to win a great prize. There are stations situated in both the South and West Stand concourses to purchase tickets from as well as a roaming seller throughout the stadium bowl.

Approximately 30 minutes after the final whistle, be sure to join us on the West Stand concourse to hear some post-match thoughts from two members of the non-playing squad.

Supporters are also invited to join us in the Players’ Bar after the final whistle. This is located on the first floor of the West Stand and gives you the opportunity to mix and mingle with the squad as well as enjoy some live entertainment.

NEWCASTLE RUGBY FOUNDATION FOOD DONATIONS POINT

The Newcastle Rugby Foundation will be collecting food donations for the local community and food bank during the match against Dragons RFC this Sunday, December 15. Donations can be dropped off in the South East corner of the stadium between 1pm and 2.30pm. Look for a member of the CAST team wearing blue jackets.

If you’re able to contribute, the foundation is accepting non-perishable food items and toiletries. Every donation will make a meaningful difference for those in need this Christmas.

FOOD & DRINK

This week, our South and West Stand concourses are your go-to spots for food and drinks. The South Stand will feature a food kiosk alongside its usual bar setup, while the West Stand will be fully operational with two food kiosks and bars open to serve you.

Our East Stand Tap & Tackle bar will also be open serving drinks and we’ll also have our well-renowned bus bar in operation in the fanzone.

Please be reminded that Kingston Park is a cashless stadium, and all bars and food outlets will only accept card payments.

For those of you not lucky enough to be at Kingston Park on Sunday, our 3.15pm kick-off against Dragons RFC is being streamed live on EPCR TV with a match pass available for €7.99.

Please be reminded that Kingston Park is a cashless venue.

Kingston Park is also NO SMOKING stadium. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere in the stadium pre, during or post-match.

After the game has finished, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet the squad. As well as their usual lap of the stadium, supporters are also invited onto the pitch for any autographs and selfies!

We do however ask that you DO NOT enter the pitch until instructed to do so by our stewarding team and stadium announcer.

This is to ensure the safety of both the supporters and the playing squad and will be approx. 10 minutes after the final whistle.
