Mateo Carreras starts for Argentina against England
Club-mates Eduardo Bello, Matias Moroni and Pedro Rubiolo are on the bench for the 8pm kick-off, which is being shown live in the UK on ITV.
Newcastle Falcons head coach Alex Codling said: “We’re proud of any of our boys who go on and play international rugby, and of course we wish them all the best.
“As a proud Englishman I’ll obviously be cheering for England when we watch the game on the team bus back from our game at Ampthill, but in a sense we can’t lose with having such a strong representation in the Argentina camp.
“It’s great for us as a club to have guys playing at that level, and we’ve also had Ben Redshaw away training with the England squad and really benefiting from that experience.
“Ben is coming back to us but we will have another player going out next week to train with England in the same way, and it’s great us to have that relationship with the national set-up.”
