This special event will once again see UK Armed Forces XV take on a North East Select XV in both men’s and women’s matches, bringing together service personnel and community players in a high-energy contest, all in support of a vital cause.

The match aims to raise funds and awareness for those affected by cancer within the armed forces and their families.
Building on the success of previous editions, the 2025 event promises to be another memorable occasion. A full day of entertainment is planned to mark Armed Forces Day, including themed activations, family-friendly activities and live rugby, making it a fantastic day out for supporters of all ages.

All proceeds from the day will go directly to Military vs Cancer, helping fund crucial support services, care packages and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those in need.
