NEW RULES OF PLAY EVENT GOES DOWN A STORM
The aim of the night was to try and clarify the regional differences in the law, and also set out what rules would be played at Newcastle Falcons Festivals throughout the season.
The participants had a talk from Stuart Dixon, the Player Development Officer from the RFU on the New Rules of Play (can be seen here http://www.rfu.com/newrulesofplay ) . After this the coaches were taken out onto the west pitch to see a demonstration of the rules in action by Novos U10’s, with a talk through of how the rules can be applied.
Attendees then had the opportunity to network with fellow age group coaches from other clubs before heading outside to watch the Falcons Vs Gloucester game.
We would like to thank Novocastrians U10’s team for all of their assistance with the demonstrating in some less than ideal weather, and also a huge thanks to all of the coaches in attendance for their willingness to engage.
