Newcastle Falcons launch Rugby Rewards
Aimed at local businesses, the programme has been designed to offer companies the chance to access a series of benefits for milestone ticket purchases within their organisation.
Tailored for each company, organisations that sign up will gain access to discounted ticket rates along with unprecedent access to the squad and match-day discounts in the club shop and bars.
The Armed Forces Covenant is the first organisation signed up to the programme and, as part of the collaboration Newcastle Falcons welcomed them to Kingston Park for our Remembrance Day fixture against Bath. They brought along an armoured vehicle and engagement trailer to allow supporters to learn more about what they do.
Speaking on the new collaboration, Newcastle Falcons head coach Dave Walder said: “Rugby Rewards is a fantastic programme and we’re delighted the Armed Forces Covenant are first to sign up.
“It’s great that we’re able to offer discounted tickets to those who really deserve it and we hope that they are able to get down to Kingston Park and support the lads this season!”
Lt Col A Black REME 4th Infantry Brigade and HQ NE Head of Engagement added: “The north east is a significant partner for the Armed Forces, with many young people joining the Army from the region, then returning after their service with a great set of skills.
“Likewise, Newcastle Falcons is a strong community partner in the north east, with their foundation outreach and elite sports programmes, inspiring players current and future. Working with the Falcons can bring benefits to us all.”
