Newcastle Falcons shine for international age groups

The final round of the Under-20s Six Nations left England at third in the standings, having won two of their five games.
Falcons prop-forward Mark Dormer has also featured for England in the competition, recording wins against Scotland and Wales.
Newcastle back-rower Matt Deehan, meanwhile, was part of the Scotland side which ended the campaign at the bottom of the table, having fallen to a heavy defeat away to Ireland on Sunday.
At Under-18s level, Newcastle Falcons had four players involved with England during Sunday’s 37-20 home win over Wales in Taunton.
Winger Nathan Greenwood (Gosforth Academy & Whitley Bay Rockcliff RFC) started the game and scored a try.
Another three Falcons players came on from the bench, in the form of scrum-half Ben Douglas (Gosforth Academy & Northern), prop Micky Rewcastle (Gosforth Academy & Blaydon) and second-row Luke Coulston (Gosforth Academy & Penrith).
Newcastle Falcons Under-18 back-rower Ewan Venerus (RGS Newcastle and Novos), has meanwhile been training with the Scotland Under-18s squad as they continue their preparations for next month’s Six Nations in France.
