Orr set for Development Team debut at Worcester
The Australian back-rower caught the eye during the Singha 7s as Newcastle won their home qualifier, but went on to break his hand on finals day.
He forms part of a strong-looking second string for the Falcons’ second trip to Sixways in the space of two days, partnering Joshua Chisanga and Tyrone Holmes in the back row.
Sam Lockwood starts at loose-head after recovering from the hamstring injury which saw him withdraw from the Premiership visit of Leicester last month, Craig Willis starting at inside centre as Brett Connon gets a run at fly-half.
Marcus Watson starts on the wing after overcoming the Achilles problem he picked up during the Olympic Games, forming a potent wing pairing with Zach Kibirige.
On the bench there is a call-up for Melrose and Scotland Under-20s prop Jack Elkington, a former Falcons academy player, while schoolboys Jack Johnson (Falcons AASE scheme at Gosforth Academy) and Charlie Wilson (RGS Newcastle) are both involved.
The Falcons Development Team have played two A-League games so far, beating Northampton 38-21 and taking a pair of bonus points in a 31-29 loss at Leicester Tigers.
