Ben joined Newcastle Falcons’ senior academy in the summer of 2023, having come through the junior academy.

Born and raised in Bramhope, Leeds, the former Sedbergh Schoolboy can play at centre or full-back, and captained England Under-18s to an emphatic victory over Ireland Under-18s in Dublin in the spring of 2023.

Going on to play a year young for England Under-19s the same season, Redshaw is known for his balanced running, pace and evasion skills.

Making his first team debut at home to Bedford in the Premiership Rugby Cup campaign in September 2023, he made his Premiership bow away at Bath in October 2023, playing 12 times in his first senior campaign.

Redshaw won the Falcons’ academy player of the season award in 2023-24, also takin try of the season for his stunning solo score in the away win over Perpignan.

Going on to score at home to Leicester Tigers later that season, Redshaw was also part of the England Under-20s team which won the 2024 Junior Six Nations, scoring a try in the decisive away win over France.
