South African Boeta Chamberlain swapped the Blue Bulls for the Red Bulls when he joined Newcastle in the autumn of 2025.

The Capetonian can play fly-half or full-back and was schooled at Paarl Boys’ High, making his professional breakthrough with the Sharks in a career which saw him being capped by South Africa Under-20s.

Playing more than 50 times for the Sharks, including in the URC and EPCR tournaments, he joined the Bulls in 2024 before securing his move to Newcastle.
