The English-qualified back-five forward joined Newcastle Red Bulls from New South Wales Waratahs in the summer of 2025.

Able to play in the second row or back row, the Australian’s professional career began with Super Rugby side Western Force, joining Worcester Warriors for a short time before the club’s financial problems forced them out of the Premiership.

Moving to Bath Rugby for a year and a half, Lee-Warner headed back to Australia with the Waratahs, for whom he played against the British & Irish Lions in 2025 before sealing his switch to Newcastle.
