Jamie Hodgson joined Newcastle from Edinburgh in the summer of 2025.

The 6 foot 6 forward made 67 appearances for Edinburgh, and played four for Bristol Bears during a loan spell in England.

A product of Stewart’s Melville College and born in Livingston, he has represented Scotland at U18 and U20 levels before making his senior international debut against Tonga in October 2021.

At the point of joining Newcastle in 2025 he had earned five caps for his country.
