Newcastle Falcons centre Adam Powell is calling on fans to make Exeter their Easter Weekend destination and support the team in the quarter finals of the European Rugby Challenge Cup, as the club put their allocation of tickets for the match on sale.

The Falcons qualified for the knock out stages as one of the best group runners up, and travel to Sandy Park on Saturday April 4th with an away semi final against either Gloucester of Connacht their reward should they be able to defeat Rob Baxter’s men.

While Sandy Park is well known as one where vocal support gets behind the home side, Powell says that the support of a merry band of Falcons fans can counteract some of the impact of the Devon crowd.

Powell said: “The quarter final is going to be quite a match with both teams out to ultimately try and win the competition. We know the Chiefs’ will try to make home advantage count, but vocal support from a big band of travelling Falcons will give undoubtedly give us a lift in a big match.”

“It is a long way to go for a match, but I’d call on our supporters, if they can, to find their way down to Exeter and give us their backing in person, because it really does make a difference.”

The Falcons allocation of tickets for the quarter final, are located across three stands at Sandy Park with seats and terracing available.

The seating allocation received by the club is in the South West Communications Stand, which provides covered seating behind a goal with tickets priced at £13 each.

Covered standing accommodation along the touchline has been received for the East Terrace – South, priced at £15 each while those who prefer to stand behind the posts can purchase tickets for North Terrace – Block C for £14. Under 16 tickets are also available in this area priced at £5.
