The new-look competition replaces the Anglo-Welsh Cup and sees all 12 Gallagher Premiership clubs split into three pools of four – each team playing four games.

Newcastle are in a group with Exeter, Bath and Harlequins and will play against all three teams, as well as facing a trip to Sale Sharks in a special ‘derby day’ round.

After their opener at home to Exeter the Falcons travel to Harlequins on Sunday November 4, hosting Bath on Friday November 9 before finishing their pool campaign away to Sale Sharks on the weekend of February 1/2/3.

The three pool winners plus one best runner-up will progress through to the semi-finals on the weekend of February 8/9/10, with the final being held on the weekend of March 15/16/17.

Both Premiership Rugby Cup home group games are included in the 2018-19 season ticket membership package along with all 11 Gallagher Premiership regular season home games, all three Heineken Champions Cup home group games and both pre-season friendlies.

Heineken Champions Cup fixtures will be announced in the coming weeks, Newcastle having been drawn in the same group as Edinburgh and French pair Toulon and Montpellier.
