Side Announced For Aviva A League Encounter With Bristol
Tait occupies his trademark fullback shirt while Tiesi joins the ranks at inside centre alongside Jamie Helleur.
Lee Smith and Danny Barnes line up on the wings while a pair of changes in the halfbacks sees Warren Fury take the scrum half berth to partner Tom Catterick at 10.
In the pack, the front row sees Blaydon loanee Alex Rogers pack down with Keiran Brookes and David Nelson while the second row retains promising young talents Glen Young and Will Witty for a second week in a row.
In the back row, Daniel Temm and Andy Saull will patrol the flanks, with Saull also taking on captaincy duties for the evening, while number 8 will be Richard Mayhew.
On the bench, the Falcons will be able to call upon the experience and skills of Matt Thompson, Mark Irving and Rory Clegg from the senior squad alongside Jake Ellwood, Dan Taylor and Tom Penny from the senior academy.
These are joined on the subs bench by Ian Billington of Newcastle University and Charlie Pascoe, who is loaned from Bath Rugby.
Speaking ahead of the game, Academy manager Mark Laycock said “We were pleased with a bonus point win last week at Leicester, but there was still plenty of room for improvement which we will be hoping to see this evening”
“Bristol are a strong outfit who will give us a thorough workout and a tough evening, so our team are going to have to be at their best if we want to make it two wins from two.”
Tonight’s match kicks off at 7pm and fans are invited to come to the stadium to watch free of charge. In a change to normal A league fixtures, supporters seating will be in the main West Stand
