Newcastle Falcons travel to Gloucester Rugby in Round 5 of the Gallagher Premiership.

The Kingsholm Stadium tie kicks off at 3pm on Saturday October 26.

NEWCASTLE FALCONS

Callum Chick made as many dominant carries as any other player in Round 5, a total of seven. He also beat six defenders – more than any other forward – and didn’t miss a tackle.

Jamie Blamire scored two tries against the Chiefs. Since the start of last season, he has scored seven tries – the joint-most by a hooker.

Tom Gordon has completed 10 or more tackles in every game this season, a feat only managed by two other players.

GLOUCESTER RUGBY

Max Llewellyn scored three tries at the weekend, taking his total to five this season (joint-first). He also assisted three tries in the first five rounds.

Seb Atkinson made more tackles than any other player in Round 5, a total of 24. He also made 12 carries and two clean breaks.

Gloucester Rugby’s only win of the 2024/25 Gallagher Premiership Rugby campaign was 44-41 at Bristol in Round 2.

Gloucester’s only win in their last five Premiership Rugby fixtures at Kingsholm was 54-14 against Newcastle, in May.

Newcastle Falcons’ unwanted twenty-five match losing run in Gallagher Premiership Rugby ended with their 24-18 home win over Exeter on Friday.

The Falcons’ most recent away win in Premiership Rugby was against Gloucester at Kingsholm in November 2022.

Gloucester have won five of their last seven encounters with Newcastle whilst the Falcons have won just once at Kingsholm since 2018.
