Support Restart Rugby and help #LiftTheWeight
This weekend (28-30th April), all Aviva Premiership matches including the Newcastle Falcon’s game against Worcester Warriors will be dedicated to Restart Rugby, the official charity of the Rugby Players’ Association. Together the league and clubs are aiming to raise over £10,000 to help players suffering from serious injury, illness or hardship.
The weekend is also aiming to raise awareness for the #LiftTheWeight campaign which addresses mental health issues amongst players. 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health issue each year. Rugby players are no exception. Restart Rugby supports players and their families during their most difficult times through a 24/7 counselling service.
> “Please show your support for Restart Rugby and help Lift The Weight.
