Swift service bar trial this Saturday
Newcastle Falcons are offering fans the chance to beat the rush to the bar this weekend as the club asks supporters to join in a trial of an exciting new development on the official Newcastle Falcons app.
Working in conjunction with Spontly, the Newcastle-based software company who provide the club’s app, supporters will be able to pre-order drinks on or before match day through their smartphones.
The trial will be limited to the West Stand concourse, with the North End of the concourse bar serving supporters making use of the in-app ordering system.
A range of alcoholic or soft drinks will be available to buy with payment made by Apple Pay or a debit/credit card – fans able to select the time they’d like to collect their orders
As Saturday marks a trial of the new feature, the functionality will only be available for iOS users for this weekend’s trial and they must be running iOS 8.0 or above.
