Team news: Bello to start against Saracens
Argentina prop Eduardo Bello makes his first start for Newcastle Falcons on Sunday when they host his former club, Saracens.
The Gallagher Premiership champions visit the North East in a 3pm kick-off, with Bello packing down at tight-head after making his debut from the bench last weekend at Harlequins.
He forms part of a side showing six personnel changes from the one which started at the Twickenham Stoop, with lock Sebastian de Chaves, hooker Jamie Blamire and flanker Freddie Lockwood all returning to the forward pack.
Matias Moroni misses out after suffering a gash to his shin last time out, and his fellow Argentina star Mateo Carreras is absent with a hamstring injury.
Brett Connon returns at fly-half with Rory Jennings sliding to inside centre – Iwan Stephens coming in on the left wing after scoring on his last appearance at home to Northampton.
Cameron Hutchison is in line for his Premiership debut having been named on the bench, with the Birmingham-born centre joining the Falcons from Edinburgh in the summer.

Falcons head coach Alex Codling, a former Saracen in his playing days, said: “Saracens a great club who have been very successful in recent years and we’re looking forward to Sunday’s game immensely.
“Every club strives to be where Saracens are, and if you can’t get excited by these kinds of challenges testing yourself against the best then you’re in the wrong game.
“They were outstanding last weekend in beating Leicester and we know it will be a huge test for us, but it’s one we’re all relishing.”
Crediting his side’s efforts but conscious of the need to turn pressure into points, Codling added: “Sarries have evolved an ability to play from deep on top of all the other aspects of their game, but we’re also dangerous when we have the ball and the boys are ready for Sunday.
“In all the games we’ve played this season we’ve have played with plenty of ambition, worked hard and been resilient, and we’re all desperate to achieve that first league win for our supporters.
“The big work-on remains around our execution and precision, particularly in the opposition 22.
“It was the theme at home against Northampton and we repeated it away to Harlequins last weekend, where we dominated possession for large parts but just couldn’t get it over the line.”
Keen to repay the Falcons faithful for their continued backing of the team, the Londoner said: “Kingston Park is a great place to play and our supporters mean everything to us.
“A big and noisy home crowd can help make a real difference for us, and it’s a huge motivation for the players and staff to be able to reward our fans for the backing they give to us.”
