People from across the North East are continuing to flock to Newcastle Falcons’ Aviva Premiership clash against Northampton Saints, as the final £10 tickets for the game have now sold out.

Taking the crowd total to over 21,000 with 11 days still to go until kick off, “The Big One” is shaping up to its billing as being the biggest day yet for North East rugby.

Ticket prices for the eagerly anticipated fixture now start from £15 for adults for seats in the Leazes end of St James’ Park, with Under 16s in these areas priced at £10.

There remains availability along the sides of the pitch in the Milburn Stand, while event partners Newcastle United also have a limited number of seats still available in the East Stand.

With the last four meeting between the two teams decided by an average of just six points, the big day out into the city centre has all the ingredients to serve up another exciting installment from English rugby’s top club competition, with the club heartened by the public’s response so far.

Tickets for The Big One at St James’ Park are available by calling 0871 226 6060, clicking here, from Kingston Park in person or via the Newcastle United box office.
