Thunder game included in Magic Weekend tickets
That’s the incentive on offer as Newcastle hosts a three-day festival of rugby league from Friday May 19 to Sunday May 21.
The fun gets underway at Kingston Park Stadium on Friday May 19 when Newcastle Thunder host York City Knights in Kingstone Press League 1 action.
Last year’s corresponding fixture drew a crowd of over 3,000 supporters, attention then turning to St James’ Park as the home of Newcastle United hosts six Super League games over the course of two action-packed days.
For supporters looking to enjoy the freedom of moving around their chosen stand, Thunder’s box office have taken tickets in both the Gallowgate and Leazes ends of St James’ Park, priced at £40 for adults and £20 for concessions for the full weekend.
For fans looking to have the reassurance of having a dedicated seat from which to enjoy watching the likes of John Bateman, Greg Bird, Luke Gale and Zak Hardaker, Thunder’s reserved allocation is in the Platinum bands of the Milburn Stand, in section L2A.
Tickets in the reserved section are priced at £80 for adults and £40 for concessions.
All tickets purchased through the Thunder box office will include an unreserved West Stand ticket for the Newcastle v York game, offering the perfect way to enjoy all of the rugby league on offer in the city over the weekend.
