Thunder Returns To Kingston Park Stadium
This Sunday will see not one but two games of rugby live at Kingston Park Stadium as Newcastle Thunder take to the field shortly after the Falcons’ Aviva Premiership clash with Harlequins.
With Newcastle Falcons’ Round 10 match against the third placed Aviva Premiership side kicking off at 3pm, Thunder will then head out onto the Kingston Park Stadium main pitch from 5.45pm to take on Whitehaven RLFC in their second game of 2016.
The pre-season match will be the first test for a new-look Thunder side which has welcomed five new signings since their first fixture against Super League side Widnes Vikings earlier this year.
Anyone with a ticket to the Newcastle Falcons game can stay on at Kingston Park Stadium and watch the league match completely free of charge, although any fans wishing to do so are asked to move over to the East Stand seating or standing areas once the union game is complete.
Tickets to Sunday’s double header are available now to buy [online][1], in person from the Kingston Park Stadium Box Office or by calling the club’s 24 hour Ticket Hotline on 0871 226 6060, starting from just £15 for adults and £7.50.
