Newcastle Falcons’ superb start to the new Aviva Premiership Rugby season continues to see tickets for games at Kingston Park Stadium be one of the hottest in town, with more than 5,000 already issued for the game against Leicester Tigers on October 29th.

The Falcons have made the best start to a season since 1997, in a campaign where they went on to lift the Premiership title in their first year in the competition, having won four of their opening five fixtures.

That run of results has seen Dean Richards’ side take victory from both matches played at home, away to Sale Sharks and Bath Rugby and record three try-scoring bonus points, with fans responding and packing out the ground for the next installment of Aviva Premiership action.

The first Sunday afternoon fixture of the new season, the attendance for the match has already been boosted by over 700 junior players taking part in a pre-match rugby festival, ran by the Falcons Community Foundation.

And while tickets remain available in all areas, with three weeks still to go until kick-off the club is advising all supporters to book without delay in order to ensure those tickets are for the stand of their choice.

Club captain Will Welch said: “We always enjoy playing at home and the crowds for the first two home games have been exactly what we’ve come to expect from our home fans.

“The crowd against Irish was, I’ve been told almost 20% up on the second game at Kingston Park last season and hopefully that will continue as the season goes on.

“I’d like to thank everyone who has decided they want to come and see us this season and have been at the stadium and to those yet to make a visit, say come along for the game against Tigers.

“It’s our first Sunday game of the year, a day out at the rugby is a really good family day out and the way both sides are playing it should be a really good game.”

Tickets for the October 29 fixture, along with those for all other confirmed home games are available to book now by [**clicking here**][1], calling 0871 2266060 or by visiting the stadium box office.
