TOUCH RUGBY RETURNS TO THE FALCONS
Touch is Rugby’s answer to 5-a-side football – it’s fast, exciting, enjoyable, involves no contact and can be played by both young & old, males & females. Squads are made up of ten players, with 6 on the field of play at any one time. It’s a great way of keeping fit or getting fit while enjoying an evening in the summer sunshine with friends enjoying drinks, socializing, music & a BBQ
Teams can enter a selection of these events and come along to the taster sessions as individuals or teams to pick up new members. The taster sessions are free and are held on May 1st and May 8th lasting from 18:00 to 19:30.
Our summer league begins on May 15th and lasting for 8 weeks held at our very own Kingston Park from 18:00 – 21:00. At only £200 a team this is a great way to make friends and keep active through the summer months. The summer league culminates in a Touch Festival at Tynemouth Beach on 28th July. This one day festival lasts from 10:30 to 16:00 and at only £40 a team provides a great day out for friends and colleagues alike.
Alongside our summer social league we are running Corporate Touch specifically geared towards company teams for team building purposes! The corporate touch is a one day festival in August (date TBC) held in the evening from 17:30-21:30. For only £75 it’s a great way to develop relationships with colleagues and add some competition into the mix!
