Sunday’s 2.30pm rugby league kick-off sees the Kingstone Press League One leaders visiting the North East in their inaugural season in the competition, Toulouse currently unbeaten at the top of the table after winning eight and drawing one of their nine games this term.

Tenth-placed Thunder are currently two spots below play-off qualification as they enter a pivotal phase of the campaign, Mick Mantelli’s men having played in front of 3,033 in their last home game with York City Knights.

Advanced tickets for Sunday’s game are available for £10 adults, £7 concessions, £5 under-16s and £3 for under-12s, rising by a further £2 if bought on match-day. To book call 0871 226 6060, visit the box office in person or [**click here**][1]

Sunday’s match is the first time a Toulouse team have played at Kingston Park since November 2001, when a Jonny-Wilkinson-inspired Falcons side thrashed the French rugby union giants 42-9 in Heineken Cup action. That match had been billed with the now-infamous ‘Two Loos’ poster (below), Wilkinson kicking six penalties, a drop goal and three conversions after tries from Hugh Vyvyan, Epi Taione and Michael Stephenson.
