Who will be Kings of the 3G on Sunday?
The 3pm kick-off sees the meeting of two of the three Greene King IPA Championship teams to play on an artificial grass pitch, with Coventry placed third in the table and the unbeaten Falcons on top.
Coventry have the two top try-scorers in the division in Max Trimble and James Stokes who have both dotted down four times, while the Falcons have the next two on the list with Adam Radwan and Ben Stevenson grounding three tries apiece.
The Falcons boast the meanest defence across the entire league, shipping just 54 points in their five outings, while Coventry are the second-top scorers with 153 points to their name.
Former Newcastle back-rower Ryan Burrows captains Coventry following his summer switch, his side unbeaten away from home this season in a start which has included a draw at much-fancied Ealing.
The Falcons’ 3G pitch ensures that this week’s sub-zero temperatures pose no threat to the fixture, Coventry already familiar with the surface having this season installed one at their Butts Park Arena base.
The two clubs have not met in a competitive fixture for more than two decades, with tickets for Sunday’s 3pm kick-off available by [**clicking here**][1] or calling 0871 226 6060.
