Support our runners in Sunday’s Great North Run

Friday 08 September 2017 Written by: Adam

Over 57,000 people will challenge themselves over the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Sheilds on Sunday, in the 36th edition of the Simplyhealth Great North Run and once again, the Newcastle Rugby Foundation will have a team of runners representing the charity.

A total of five intrepid individuals will be taking on the test and raising valuable funds for the foundation, which delivers an array of programmes that aim to motivate, educate and inspire through the power of sport.

Aiming to raise a target of £200 each, all monies from supporters of the five will go directly to the Newcastle Rugby Foundation, funding continued work in communities throughout the North East and Cumbria using the power of rugby union and rugby league.

To support our brave runners and Newcastle Rugby Foundation, you can donate to the fundraising pages below via MyDonate.
