Thunder home league opener at Kingston Park on Sunday
Thunder host London Skolars at 3pm in the first home game of the Kingstone Press League 1 campaign, Newcastle having enjoyed a 24-20 away victory in last weekend’s league opener at Workington Town.
Head coach Mick Mantelli’s side are already through to the fourth round of the Challenge Cup after defeating Workington at home, the club having won their last 14 competitive fixtures in a run which stretches back to June 2016.
