Blind-side flanker Davies (pictured) played the full 80 minutes, putting in an energetic performance with plenty of carries and offloads.

Hooker Blamire played the first hour of the game in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, contributing an offload in the move for the opening try.

Fellow Falcon Ruaridh Dawson also featured in the tournament’s opening round, the scrum-half playing the final 23 minutes of Scotland’s 42-20 defeat to New Zealand.

Holders England are next in action when they face Wales on Sunday, while Scotland’s next outing sees them meeting Ireland the same day.

All games in the Junior World Championship are being streamed live on the World Rugby website, with highlights in the UK on ITV4.
