Event schedule for our Origin training session

In place of this year’s True North Origin fixture, Newcastle Falcons are hosting an ‘Origin training session’, giving supporters an insight into the preparations of the squad.

In a rare opportunity and Kingston Park first, supporters will be subject to a unique behind-the-scenes experience, that will also include live coaching on key exercises and tactics.

Director of rugby Steve Diamond will be providing live commentary throughout, explaining the reasoning behind certain drills and setups.

A detailed schedule of events can be found below:

5pm: Turnstiles open

Arrive early to enjoy the atmosphere and find the perfect spot to watch all the action unfold. Entry will be through the West Stand of Kingston Park.

5pm: Bar and food kiosks open

Satisfy your appetite with a great selection of food and drinks available throughout the evening on our West Stand concourse.

5-6pm: Junior Falcons activity

Newcastle Rugby Foundation are hosting an action-packed hour of rugby skills for those Junior Falcons who have registered to attend. There will also be an exclusive Q&A with some members of the Newcastle Falcons squad. Find out more HERE.

6-7:30pm: Origin training session

Watch as the Falcons’ first-team squad undergoes a high-intensity training session. This session will replicate full match conditions, offering a rare chance to witness how the team practices set plays, strategies, and game-day scenarios. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see the squad in action ahead of the new season!

7:30pm: Player meet and greet

After the session, stay around to meet the players! Grab a selfie, collect autographs, and chat with your favourite Falcons stars.

Parking at the stadium is free, but spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot.
