Getting to the stadium

Getting to the stadium

Our address is:

Kingston Park Stadium
Brunton Road
Kenton Bank Foot
Newcastle upon Tyne
NE13 8AF

We are only five miles from Newcastle city centre, three miles from Newcastle International Airport, two minutes’ drive from the A1 and a five-minute walk from Kingston Park and Bank Foot Metro stations.

As the most northerly Gallagher Premiership Club, we understand that a trip to watch your team take on the Falcons can be a big commitment but with our famous Geordie hospitality and the club only minutes from the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, Kingston Park is well worth a visit!

There are an abundance of hotels around and about the Newcastle, but we would recommend:

The Duke of Wellington Inn, (approximately 13 miles from Kingston Park)

The Angel of Corbridge (approximately 16 miles from Kingston Park)

For further recommendations, visit the NewcastleGateshead Initiative website HERE.

Stadium Parking

On non-match days there is ample free parking at Kingston Park Stadium. On first-team match days however parking is limited and does come with a charge. This is available to purchase seasonally or on a match-by-match basis. Your car parking pass entitles you to a parking space on site however, we cannot guarantee parking in a specific area of the stadium. Parking is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You can purchase carparking through our ticket office or our e-ticketing portal.

We strongly recommend booking in advance as we are unable to guarantee availability for those turning up on the day without a reserved space.

The status of available parking will be regularly communicated across our website and social media channels.

Car parking is currently on sale for all our confirmed fixtures, up until our EPCR Challenge Cup clash with Bennetton on Friday, January 12 (8pm KO).

To book match-day parking please call 0191 2145588 (opt 1), email ticketoffice@newcastle-falcons.co.uk or visit the club’s online ticketing portal.

Public Transport

By Metro

Kingston Park Stadium is served by Kingston Park and Bank Foot Metro stations, both of which are a five-minute walk away. Both stations are on the Airport branch of the Tyne and Wear Metro.

Newcastle city centre is approximately 20 minutes away by Metro, which also serves Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside, and the coast.

Tyne and Wear Metro also have some cost-saving incentives available to supporters using their services including their ‘Save As You Go with Pay As You Go’ campaign.

Purchasing a Pop Pay As You Go Card, when compared to buying paper Metro day tickets, saves you 65p on single tickets and 85p on day tickets.

Just top up your Pop PAYG card online or at a ticket machine, and then touch in and out to pay for your journeys as you make them. Tyne and Wear Metro calculate the cheapest fare for your journey, making it a very convenient way to travel to match days.

For those travelling via the national train network and arriving at Newcastle Central Station, the Tyne and Wear Metro is the easiest way in which to get to the stadium. Central Station has its own Metro station.

Take trains headed for ‘Airport’ and alight at Kingston Park station, which is 10 stops away.

The journey takes approximately 20 minutes and Kingston Park Stadium is a further five-minute walk away from the station.

Alternatively, a taxi rank is available immediately outside central station.

For those arriving via the national train network into Sunderland station there is also a direct Metro connection from Sunderland to Kingston Park.

Take Metros headed for Airport for a 22-stop journey which takes approximately 45 minutes.
