Match-day guide: Falcons v Saints – April 18th

Turnstiles open at 6.15pm, with kick-off set for 7.45pm.

Our club shop and ticket office will be open from 9am on match day.

The fixture against Northampton Saints is included in all 2024/25 seasonal membership packages.

Match tickets for Saints are currently on general sale with prices from as little as £17 for adults and £10 for U18s. Concessionary pricing is also available for 18–23-year-olds and supporters over the age of 65.

Ticket prices will rise on match day so be sure to grab yours quick!

Newcastle Falcons welcome Northampton Saints to Kingston Park this Friday (April 18, kick-off: 7.45pm) in the Gallagher Premiership.

The Good Friday clash sees the return of league action to Kingston Park with Steve Diamond’s Falcons looking to earn their third win of the campaign, adding to victories over Exeter Chiefs and Saracens.

With the fixture also being our Family Fun Friday, supporters can expect plenty entertainment on the pitch as well as off it. For more details on everything going on at Kingston Park, see below:

TICKETS

Match tickets for Falcons v Saints remain on general sale from as little as £17 for adults and just £10 for U18s. Concessionary pricing is also available for 18–23-year-olds or supporters over the age of 65. Be sure to grabs yours before prices rise on match day. Click HERE to secure your place.

Once you’ve purchased a match ticket, these will be sent to the email address you provided, attached to your purchase confirmation – these can either be printed, viewable on your smartphone or added to your phone’s digital wallet.

2024/25 season ticket holders will be able to access the ground with your digital season ticket. If you’re a supporter with a physical card for the season, this will also grant you access to the stadium.

ENTERTAINMENT

We’ll have live music from a talented local artist Matty Grimes in our Street Eats hospitality suite this match day. If you’re looking to add a little bit of luxury to your match day, you can purchase a bolt-on upgrade to access all the perks of the package. The Defender Cup returns to Kingston Park on Friday April 18. Hosted by the Newcastle Rugby Foundation, the tournament welcomes under-11 and under-12 teams from across the region for an afternoon of community rugby. Taking place ahead of our showdown with Northampton Saints, it’s set to be a great celebration of grassroots rugby.

Fan favourite DJ Chop returns to Kingston Park and will be performing sets pre-match, at half time and after the final whistle on the West Stand concourse.

The Newcastle Rugby Foundation will be holding their usual Foundation Flutter raffle ahead of kick-off. Purchase a ticket for your chance to win a great prize. There are stations situated in both the South and West Stand concourses to purchase tickets from as well as a roaming seller throughout the stadium bowl.

The Junior Falcons Funzone will be up and running once again for the Saints fixture, with plenty of activities in place for all our youngest supporters to enjoy including table tennis, Xbox and Wii consoles and even a special visit from Falcons players. There will also be FREE face painting and balloon modelling taking place.

Keeping with our Family Fun Friday theme we’ll also be holding a very special Junior Falcons treasure hunt where if you complete the task at hand, you can be in with a chance of winning a great prize. Head to the Junior Falcons Funzone for more information ahead of kick off.

As with every match day we’ll be hosting our special half-time crossbar challenge and the fan-favourite merchandise cannon will doing its usual lap of the pitch.

Supporters are also invited to join us in the Players’ Bar after the final whistle. This is located on the first floor of the West Stand and gives you the opportunity to mix and mingle with the squad as well as enjoy some live entertainment.

PREMIERSHIP RUGBY PRIDE ROUND

Newcastle Falcons are proud to support Premiership Rugby’s Pride Round, with our upcoming home fixture against Northampton Saints on Friday April 18, dedicated to celebrating LGBTQ+ inclusion in rugby.

The initiative highlights the importance of equality across the game, encouraging supporters to champion inclusivity and challenge discrimination in all its forms. Learn more and get involved by clicking HERE.

As part of the match-day celebration, we’ll hear at half-time from Robin, lead organiser of the Hadrian Cup, and Shaun, director of rugby union at Newcastle Ravens, the North East’s only LGBT+ inclusive rugby team. The pair will reflect on last month’s successful Hadrian Cup tournament – one of the UK’s largest annual LGBTQ+ sporting festivals – hosted right here at Kingston Park.

FOOD & DRINK

Supporters can look forward to a feast both on and off the pitch this match day, with a wide variety of food stalls and bars open throughout the stadium.

The West and South Stands will be in full operation, each featuring two food kiosks alongside the usual bar facilities.

In the East Stand, the Tap & Tackle bar will also be open, serving a full range of drinks.

Our fan zone, located in the north-west corner of the stadium, will offer a selection of match-day favourites, including:

  • Grilled to See You (burgers)
  • Take the Bait (fish and chips)
  • Ice cream van

In addition, a Greek street food van will be located in the south-west corner of the stadium bowl.

Please note that Kingston Park is a cashless venue. All food and drink outlets accept card payments only.

Please be reminded that Kingston Park is a cashless venue.

Kingston Park is also NO SMOKING stadium. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere in the stadium pre, during or post-match.

After the game has finished, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet the squad. As well as their usual lap of the stadium, supporters are also invited onto the pitch for any autographs and selfies!

We do however ask that you DO NOT enter the pitch until instructed to do so by our stewarding team and stadium announcer.

This is to ensure the safety of both the supporters and the playing squad and will be approx. 10 minutes after the final whistle.
