‘A’ TEAM GEAR-UP FOR NORTHAMPTON
The match will see both sides giving new blood an opportunity as well as providing senior squad players with much needed game time ahead of Nothampton’s charge towards the Premiership play-offs and Newcastle’s preparations for the Championship play-offs.
The two teams battled against inclement weather at Blaydon RFC in the Aviva A League earlier this season with Northampton coming out on top 19-17. Mark Laycock’s men will be hoping for a reversal of that result this time round in what is the last ‘A’ Team fixture of the season.
