Bid for signed Goneva and Shearer print
Donated by the man who took the photo, Falcons club photographer Chris Lishman, the signed 24″ x 16″ canvas wrap shows Goneva doing Alan Shearer’s trademark celebration after scoring a try for the Falcons during their St James’ Park victory over Northampton Saints.
Only two such prints have been signed by the pair, with the online auction ending at 9pm on the evening of Sunday May 6.
All proceeds will go to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, raising funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease, the currently-incurable condition with which Falcons great Doddie Weir has been diagnosed.
